English Cream Colors

We would like to show you the progression of an english cream pup from birth to adult hood. You can see how dark they are colored at birth and how creamy colored they can be as they get older. Most will slowly loose all and/or some of the dark overlay shading as they get older. Some will keep some of the dark overlay as adults which makes them shaded creams. You can also have a red english cream which will throw english cream pups.

Below starting on the left is a shaded cream, Mini Biscuit with her litter, center is her dam Biscuit, solid cream and the right colum is Carmen, 1/2 english red with her litter. All of these females were bred to full english cream sires.

You can also breed a choc/tan and black/tan, 1/2 english cream to a full english cream male and produced creams and reds both.

A true English Cream must carry the chinchila gene. There is a difference in a full cream and a cream gene carrier.
